I began this way of life because I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I was diagnosed with a rare heart disease in 2000 and was trying to figure out a way to reverse my illness. Unfortunately, my way wasn’t working because while I was getting better, I kept relapsing. The last time was in 2009. I figured I was through with dieting and just needed a way to get my body back to healthy and have more energy. I had just had 3 surgeries back to back and had an episode of my defibrillator going off on me repeatedly. I felt like I was losing my battle with health and life. I decided that if I was to be healthy, then it was up to me to put healthy first. So I adopted a clean way of eating which helped my heart function jump up and gave me more energy than I have had in the last 14 years. I am still a work in progress, but the proof is in the pudding!
Trust and believe this is NOT a diet. It is a not so new, sustainable way of life that will help you achieve your goals for well being. This way of eating is better for the mind, body and soul. We were meant to eat this way, so there is no way it can be wrong.
